Hey guys!
If you have any spare time, please take a moment to check out Broadway in South Africa. They're this amazing group of thespians (most are Broadway veterans themselves) who are currently in South Africa (obviously), offering workshops in drama, dance, music, and playwriting to a bunch of village children who otherwise might not be exposed to the fine arts. The 18 professional artists are also hosting and performing at a few benefits throughout the country to raise money for a great HIV/AIDS organization.
They've produced a short PSA-type video about the trip ( under this cut )

This is the type of work I hope to get into after graduating, and it's really inspiring to hear that it was just a few Northwestern students that started the project as a fundraising effort to get to Cape Town. I'm sure it's something that all of us, as art students, can relate to.
